The Space We Share

The Space We Share is a story about a day in our lives, both audience and ensemble. While we meet each one of the ensemble members, we get to investigate what it means to be in the same space, and be present for each other. Loneliness, loss, routine and struggles seem to be easier to bear in company. It's a joy to get to know someone, and feel seen and heard. We want to share that joy of being together, of finding the universe of things we have in common, and the abyss that makes us unique.

This piece is the culminating presentation of a bilingual workshop created and performed by an ensemble of community members, immigrants, and workers. Presented by The People’s Theatre and Working Theater.
