Mary needs an abortion. Strapped for cash, she quits her waitressing job and empties her bank account to travel across state lines to the nearest women’s clinic. Upon her arrival, Mary learns she must wait the state mandatory forty-eight hour ‘reflection period’ to go through with the procedure. Holed up in a shoddy motel in the eye of the Midwest’s Tornado Alley, Mary knows there’s a storm coming, and there’s nothing she can do to stop it.
